How To Confirm Correct Toshiba/Tec Printer Series

In the past some Toshiba/Tec series B and SX printers where incorrectly labeled. Therefore, when ordering parts or needing technical assistance it is necessary to confirm correctly what series printer you my have. To do this, we need to look at the orientation of the front panel buttons. Please see image below.

If the front panel buttons are HORIZONTAL it is a B Series printer ( applies to both the B-472 and B-572). If the buttons are VERTICAL it is an SX Series printer (applies to both the SX4 and SX5).

Note: the B Series of printers (B-472 & B-572) are discontinued Models and new parts are no longer available.
